We attach great importance to the protection of personal data. The collection and processing of your personal data takes place in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect and process your personal data in order to offer you the above-mentioned website. This declaration describes how and for what purpose your data is collected and used and what options you have in relation to personal information. By using this website, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information in accordance with these data protection regulations. Our entire staff is committed to confidentiality and the adherence to the data protection regulations.

Website & Server-Log-Files & Cookies

The provider of these websites automatically collects and stores information in log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. Hits on this website are recorded for administrative and statistical purposes. The following data is collected: Website visited, URL of the accessed content, date and time of retrieval, transmitted data volume in bytes, reports on successful or failed access, requesting domain, web browser, operating system and IP address of the requesting computer. To improve the quality of our websites, we use so-called cookies. Cookies are used to store data in your browser, which can be used by our websites. Allowing cookies is not mandatory for the use of our websites. You can reject cookies at any time via the settings of your browser. Additional personal data will only be collected if you make this information available voluntarily – for example in the context of a request.

E-mail and Newsletters

If you contact us (e.g. via the contact form or an e-mail), or if you subscribe to our newsletter via the newsletter form, we will save your details for the processing of the request, as well as in the event that follow-up questions arise. We store and use other personal data only if you consent to it or if this is permitted by law without special consent. You may unsubscribe at any time either through clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button here or by contacting us via email at dataprotection@schoenewaldfinearts.de.

MailChimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. This service is provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. If you provide data (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be stored on MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States. We use MailChimp to analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file included in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the United States. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you click on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to a specific recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to your interests. If you do not want your usage of the newsletter to be analyzed by MailChimp, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter we send. Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing to the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted from our servers and those of MailChimp. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remains unaffected. For details, see the MailChimp privacy policy at

Use

We use data made available to us for technical administration, in particular for answering inquiries, for processing contracts concluded with you, for sending newsletters via MailChimp and for quality control. We will not make personal data available to third parties, unless this is necessary for the purpose of technical administration and compliance with applicable data protection laws is guaranteed by the third party.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

As a matter of principle, we only use your personal data within our company. If and insofar as we engage third parties in the fulfilment of contracts (such as logistics service providers), only those personal data are transmitted which are necessary to provide the respective service. In the event that we outsource certain parts of the data processing procedure (‘order processing’), we contractually obligate processors to use personal data only in accordance with the requirements of data protection laws and to ensure the protection of the data subject's rights.
Storage
We store data for the purposes stated in this declaration of data protection. You have the right of access to stored data pertaining to your person, its origin and those who receive it, as well as to the purpose of its storage. You can contact the department responsible for data protection in our company at any time and request information.

Security

We take adequate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your information. We cannot, however, guarantee that data will not be disclosed to third parties during transmission or through unauthorized access. No liability is assumed for unauthorized access by third parties.
SSL Encryption
For security reasons, and to protect the transmission of confidential data, such as enquiries you send to us as the provider, this website uses an SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the change in the address line of the browser from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock-symbol in your browser address line.
When the SSL encryption is activated, the data you have transmitted to us cannot be accessed by third parties.
